'Lithuanian president called for Germany and the US to send more troops to the Baltics'

In an interview with the Financial Times, Lithuanian president Gitanas Nausėda called for Germany and the US to send more troops to the Baltics to show Moscow that NATO was ready to react to its aggression.
According to Nausėda, the Baltic states are facing their “most dangerous situation since regaining independence” due to around 130,000 Russian troops massed on the border with Ukraine and their presence in Belarus.
