Slovakia will buy the CV90 infantry fighting vehicle from Sweden, Defense Minister Nadi said. The proposal to purchase the CV90 has been approved by the Slovak government. The cost of the contract for the supply of 152 infantry fighting vehicles should be almost 1.7 billion euros (without maintenance). This will be one of the largest defense contracts in the history of Slovakia.

This will also allow transferring about a hundred BVP-1/2 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine.
