Ukraine war report, Sept. 20, 2022

Russian Wagner PMC recruited more than 6,000 prisoners as mercenaries.

Ukrainian forces hit a barge with military equipment and personnel in Nova Kakhovka it was sunk.

Russian bases were blown up in Alchevsk and Melitopol.

Russian source on the situation in Kherson:
"The situation near Kherson is not easy, communication across the Dnieper (river) is extremely difficult, it is likely that the enemy will again try to force us across the river"

The Armed Forces hit Russian bases in Svatovo and Novoaidar in the Luhansk region losses are being clarified.

Fighting continues around Yampil.

Battles in Lyman are still undecided.

It is unclear if the original assault was successful.

Russian units in the town are on limited time I expect if Ukrainian forces take the villages on the flanks they will withdraw.

Russian forces attacks towards Bakhmut are now completely useless due to recent Ukrainian counterattacks.

They have been fighting for months for 2 villages in heavy combat…
