INTEL – The US, Taiwan and Japan will share real-time data from maritime reconnaissance UAVs.
It is expected that by 2025, the American defense company General Atomics will supply Taipei with four MQ-9B Sea Guardian UAVs as part of strengthening the position of the island nation in the face of the Chinese threat.
Washington will also allow drones to be integrated into the same system that will be used by US forces in the region and the Japan Self-Defense Forces.
Thus, the US, its allies and partners will be able to simultaneously observe the same information collected by drones, which will be called a joint operational picture.
