TAIWAN – US HIMARS are being prepared for delivery to Taiwan

11 Hymars MLRS and two simulators will be delivered from the US to Taiwan in the second half of 2024.

Taiwan plans to send 30 people to America next February to be trained in the maintenance and use of HIMARS. The preparation will last until October 2024.

The delivery of the second batch of 18 MLRS is expected in 2027.

Local media reports say the amphibious group led by the USS America will take part in a joint exercise with South Korean forces.
