ISW analysts voiced three key conditions under which the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to achieve a significant breakthrough on the southern front line
In particular, this can happen if:
- Russian forces do not have the necessary reserves to maintain defense,
- the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have enough power to continue the offensive after the depletion of the Russian forces,
- the next defensive line of the Russians is not as well mined and fortified as the fortifications already broken through by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
