NATO Showcases Unprecedented Maritime Cooperation and Readiness during Exercise Dynamic Mariner 23 in the Mediterranean

Latvia will purchase ATACMS missiles

Latvia's upcoming purchase package from the United States will include ATACMS high-precision long-range missiles, the head of the Latvian Ministry of Defense Andris Spruds said on social networks.

Also on the list are six wheeled M142 HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and other related equipment.

The total purchase cost will be approximately 220 million euros. The parties will sign the agreement in the coming months.

In addition, Latvia plans to buy HIMARS missile, artillery and anti-ship missile systems by 2027.
