The US drone company in Silicon Valley called Skydio has begun supplying the Israeli army with short-range ISR reconnaissance drones developed by the company. These small-sized drones used by the American army also operate using software. AI artificial intelligence to autonomously overcome obstacles, fly autonomously, conduct 3D scanning of complex structures such as buildings and concrete structures, and possess high-quality imaging and reconnaissance capabilities day and night.

In the three weeks following the October 7 attacks, Skydio sent more than 100 autonomous drones to the Israeli army based on their requests, with expectations

The Canadian Army’s acquisition of armed drones was postponed until 2028 to develop and enable the aircraft to operate in the Arctic region.
