The United States replenished its nuclear arsenal with new B61-12 bombs
These bombs are currently equipped with B-2 Spirit strategic bombers, according to a report submitted by the National Nuclear Security Administration to the US Congress.
The B61-12 has several low and medium power options (0.3-50 kt).
However, its low power is compensated by the tail unit, which makes the aerial bomb controllable and more accurate, which makes it possible not to drop it by parachute, but to drop the charge from a high-flying aircraft. The bomb independently plans several kilometers towards the target and, if necessary, “guides” towards it.

Stratolaunch has won a contract from Leidos for some hypersonic flights using their Roc carrier aircraft & Talon-A demonstrator.
This comes after the company performed a successful drop test of a Talon prototype over the Pacific Ocean back in May.
