This is a green policy that it designed to put more traffic on the waterways and canals. It also made an emphasis on green energy and that's what this Deugro company does here. It transports wind turbines, so much for the bird migrations. The question should be asked, why is it so important to keep things on the water? This enables them with less handling of containers and with NY/NJ being the main hub where it then spokes out words. This is the term the department uses. The thing I don't get is, it is supposed to be run by strictly American owned and operated vessels. Duegro is German and probably has connections to Standard oil and the Bush's. Funny how the law got passed under Bush Jr. And Pelosi's name is all over this too.
