We have a big announcement for you today! We were standing before a big task at the start of the year — to balance the craft system and the marketplace and make it fair for every Captain.

We're gonna talk about some changes that will be made to the game economy:

1️⃣ Craft WOD price:
Common: 2 200 WOD
Uncommon: 4 600 WOD
Rare: 9 000 WOD
Epic: 18 000 WOD
Legendary: 36 000 WOD
Artifact: 72 000 WOD

2️⃣ Craft Material price:
Common, Uncommon and Rare recipes will need 15% more materials than before.
Epic, Legendary and Artifact will need 35% more, especially Common, Uncommon and Rare materials.

3️⃣ Fishing Sessions balance changes:

A higher Captain Level will be needed for more simultaneous Fishing Sessions to be available:
LVL 1: 1 Session
LVL 5: 2 Sessions
LVL 10: 3 Sessions
LVL 20: 4 Sessions
LVL 30: 6 Sessions
LVL 40: 7 Sessions
LVL 50: 8 Sessions
LVL 60: 10 Sessions
LVL 70: 11 Sessions
LVL 80: 12 Sessions
LVL 90: 14 Sessions
LVL 100: 15 Sessions

We're also working on reducing the gas fee needed to craft the equipment.

These changes will be available on Testnet today at 18:00 UTC.

Introducing you the XP system rework, which is targeted on balancing the economy and making the high level equipment more valuable.

New equipment level up cost:
💎 500 WOD
💎 1000 WOD
💎 2000 WOD
💎 3 500 WOD
💎 7 500 WOD
💎 12 500 WOD

It's important to remind that if the Captain's equipment has more than 1 LVL worth experience, then the level up cost will be shown for all available levels.

E.g. if you want to upgrade a common rod with 5 levels available, the price will be x5 for one level (440x5=2200 WOD).

We've also decreased the amount of XP points gained from each tier zones:
TIER 5 XP gained decreased by 17%
TIER 4 XP gained decreased by 42%
TIER 3 XP gained decreased by 55%
TIER 2 XP gained decreased by 63%
TIER 1 XP gained decreased by 58%
TIER S XP gained decreased by 42%

Starting from today we want to give you a more detailed insight into Tower Defish development process. We're going to give you a little dev blog to brighten up the expectation of the game release.

Captains with the Defish Ticket should get ready for closed alpha testing in the near future.

The game is ready for closed alpha, but we want to improve it so it will feel more as a final version of the game and won't give any unwanted surprises to the testers community.

Just to explain what's the main development priority is, it's the game optimization. The game files size is 1.5 Gb at the moment, but it will increase as we develop it further. Although we intend to make the game graphics look nice for the modern market, even the low-budget phones would be able to run it.

Animations and UI design are in the final stage of development for the moment.

After the closed alpha testing we will open the game for public beta test and will continue to improve it by gathering feedback

And, after the public beta, the final version release will follow.

The balance of WOD that can be withdrawn from Harbor is going to be limited and this amount will be global, so it's not just your personal limit.

We are going to test this update in the following month, so be prepared that you might encounter a limit for WOD withdrawal at some time during the month.

We will inform you on the more specific details (like the WOD withdrawal pool balance and the update release date) in the close future.

After the big changes we will collect your feedback, as we do with every economic adjustment, so feel free to leave your opinion in the chat and after a month we will go through all the feedback and decide what to do next.
