It appears the Government will shutdown.
Senate Dems worked out a deal with President Trump but now the Dems are blocking a spending package that funds DHS unless it includes new restrictions on immigration enforcement 😳
During the shutdown:
- Non-essential federal services will halt
- Many federal employees will be furloughed
- Essential services like ICE operations, military functions, and law enforcement will continue
House is expected to vote on it on Monday making a brief shutdown appear inevitable.
