This is a spiritual battle. Good vs evil. This is why we are told in 2 Corinthians 5:7 to walk by faith not by sight.  This is why Ephesians 6 talks about the light and the darkness. Hebrews 11 is the hall of faith, men who by faith they were pleasing to God. Ephesians 6:13 says if you have faith, then to win, you'll require the armour of God when the day of evil comes.

No matter what anyone says to you, it's by faith!
