From New Year’s Eve through Jan. 5, a six-night projection-mapping spectacle will illuminate the iconic Monument, creating a canvas that tells America’s story of discovery, expansion, revolution, independence, and innovation.

This illumination is the opening signature moment of a year-long series of @250Freedom_ national events celebrating the triumph of the American spirit.

Jan. 1-5, 2026: 7 pm-11:30 pm (Fireworks on Jan. 5 at pm)
