World Drug Report 2016 by WHO

It is estimated that 1 in 20 adults, or a quarter of a billion people between the ages of 15 and 64 years, used at least one drug in 2014. Roughly the equivalent of the combined populations of France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom, though a substantial amount, it is one that does not seem to have grown over the past four years in proportion to the global population. Nevertheless, as over 29 million people who use drugs are estimated to suffer from drug use disorders, and of those, 12 million are people who inject drugs (PWID), of whom 14.0 per cent are living with HIV, the impact of drug use in terms of its consequences on health continues to be devastating.

With an estimated 207,400 drug-related deaths in 2014, corresponding to 43.5 deaths per million people aged 15-64, the number of drug-related deaths worldwide has also remained stable, although unacceptable and preventable.

Overdose deaths contribute to between roughly a third and a half of all drug-related deaths, which are attributable in most cases to opioids. The time period shortly after release from prison is associated with a substantially increased risk of death from drug-related causes (primarily as a result of drug overdoses), with a mortality rate much higher than from all causes among the general population.

In the Islamic Republic of Iran, where opiates remain the main drug consumed by problem drug users, methamphetamine use has emerged as another drug of concern in recent years. Methamphetamine use has also been described as a new form of polydrug use among opiate users. Many local studies of opiate users in methadone treatment have reported the use of methamphetamine among the clients of treatment centres.

For example, a study at an opioid substitution treatment clinic in Zahedan Province showed that methamphetamine use among opioid users in treatment increased from 6 per cent in 2009 to almost 20 per cent in 2011. Another study of 378 people seeking treatment at a therapeutic community centre found that the urine samples of nearly 7 per cent of those people had tested positive for methamphetamine.

Methamphetamine use has reportedly had a negative influence on opioid-dependent patients in treatment who wrongly believe that methamphetamine use could help control their opiate dependence and associated problems such as depression and poor sexual performance and increase their physical energy, attention and concentration and improve social relationships. Methamphetamine use among heroin users has also been reported in other parts of Asia.

پيرو اطلاعيه سازمان هواشناسي و اخطاريه استانداري مبني بر شکل گیری و نفوذ یک سامانه بارش زا به استان از روز یکشنبه مورخ 95/12/29 تا چهارشنبه 96/01/02، بارش باران، رعد و برق و تگرگ در کل استان پيش بيني مي شود. بارش ها به صورت مداوم و متناوب و بشكل متوسط تا شديد پيش بيني شده است. با توجه به اينكه در بارش هاي شديد اواخر بهمن ماه امسال اكثر آبگيرهاي طبيعي و حوضچه هاي تغذيه مصنوعي مملو از آب و زمين اشباع شده، بارندگي پيش رو باعث ايجاد رواناب و طغيان رودخانه ها خواهد شد. مقتضي است تمهيدات لازم به منظور كسب آمادگي و پاسخ مناسب اخذ گردد.

طوفان هجومی و غلیانی که سبب هجوم امواج دریا به ساحل شده و شکل منیاتوری از سونامی با امواج کشنده است.

متاسفانه این پدیده امروز در بندر دیر سبب مفقود شدن تنی چند از هموطنانمان گردید.

پدیده ای که امروز در سواحل جنوبی استان اتفاق افتاد نتیجه سقوط سنگین و غلیظ از هوای سرد چگال، و از ابر cb ( کومولونیمبوس) در حال گذر بر روی خلیج فارس بود. این رخداد اگر در مقیاس بزرگ اتفاق بیافتد آن ‌را macro burst و اگر در مقیاس کوچک خرد هواشناسی رخ دهد آن را microburst می‌نامند. این اتفاق در کمتر از 10 دقیقه و معمولا بین 3 تا 5 دقیقه رخ می‌دهد، و منجر به برش یا شکاف هوایی دهشت‌باری در جهت‌های افقی و عمودی می‌شود. این رخداد می‌تواند "خشک" و یا "تر" باشد که در خشکی گرد و خاک ایجاد می کند و باعث جابجایی خاک می شود و بر روی دریا موج ایجاد می کند و باعث جابجایی آب می شود.
شمایی از چگونگی وقوع این اتفاق در تصویر فوق مشخص می باشد و حلقه‌های چرخش این انفجار در نزدیکی سطح زمین به خوبی دیده می‌شود.
