Whatever hit to “muh economy” this causes in the short run will be offset to a revolutionary degree in the other direction as real, productive people get their lives back, can afford food and housing and living expenses again, can freely and unimpeded contribute to the actual economy again, and overall just feel a new sense of life and purpose when they finally get the world they actually deserve.
A nation is for its citizens.
