None has ever caught him yet, for Tom, he is the master: His songs are stronger songs, and his feet are faster.

Not a meme, not even close - but somebody needs to hear this today:

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”
Mark 5:36 NKJV

These words spoken by Jesus are so amazing and comforting, yet so hard to do. In context, a religious ruler named Jairus had a young daughter who had just died in the middle of Jesus performing a miracle for somebody else. And in the midst of the heartache and pain that this man was obviously feeling, he heard the words “do not be afraid; only believe” fall from the Savior’s lips.

It’s hard to do. You lose a job, you fall behind on bills, you relapse, you lose a family member, whatever the case may be. To be afraid is a natural instinct. What in the world am I going to do now? Jairus probably had many thoughts running through his mind; but Jesus pressed him to do the following:

1. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be scared. Don’t run away. Be courageous.

2. Only believe. This word holds so much weight. Pisteuō. It means to entrust a thing to someone — to have confidence and to give your worries and your anxieties and your cares to God in faith.

No matter your circumstance, or your hardship, or your season of life — as rotten as they may seem — it’s critical that we not be afraid. Why? Because God is in control. Jesus, the Healer, was in the room with Jairus. And Jesus, the Comforter, the Good Shepherd, the Light of the World, is in the room with you as well in the midst of your struggle. Just believe. That’s it.

Read the next few verses and find out why this matters so much. When we have faith, amazing things can happen. Mourning turns to gladness, and pain to comfort. Do not be afraid; only believe.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, and against the worldly governors, the princes of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness, which are in the high places.

“War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend: the city of the Men of Númenor, and I would have her loved for her memory, her ancientry, her beauty, and her present wisdom. Not feared, save as men may fear the dignity of a man, old and wise.” - The Two Towers

These are the 3 little girls whose stabbing murder means nothing to the British system or their system pigs on the ground.  The reaction to their deaths will be contained by the system until it can be buried.  Then it will be swept under the rug until another non does something else to Our Children.  The only way Our People will truly keep the memory of these children alive is by organizing into something more long term and effective than a temporary protest mob.
