Gratitude | Louie Schwartzberg | TEDxSF
Nature's beauty can be easily missed — but not through Louie Schwartzberg's lens. His stunning time-lapse photography, accompanied by powerful words from Benedictine monk Brother David Steindl-Rast, serves as a meditation on being grateful for every day.…

Shout-out to all the "good enough" parents. You are the best!! 😉
~~~
Below from the legendary Dr. Peter Gray:
IF WE DEFINE parenting as caregiving to one’s child, then the best parent is not the one who parents most, and certainly not the one who parents least. ... As I see it, and pretty much as Bettelheim saw it, good enough parents have the following characteristics:
• They do not strive to be perfect parents and do not expect perfection from their children.
• They respect their children and try to understand them for who they are.
• They are more concerned for the child’s experience of childhood than with the child’s future as an adult.
• They provide the help that their children need and want, but not more than they need or want.
• They employ the primary tools of good enough parenting--conscious reflection, maturity, and empathy.
• They are confident that their good enough parenting is good enough.
Friendly reminder to use discernment in today's digital world. *** Be wise about potential account hackers. ***
Someone in another group shared how their friend got duped and unwittingly sent their Telegram account verification code to a scammer attempting to log-in to their account. But this kind of thing could happen on any other platform too.
~~~
"HOW DID THEY DO IT
First, they pretend to call and hang up as a telegram friend whose account they'd already gained control of. Then, they make a secret chat and act like the person whose account it really is. They start chatting, oh sorry I didn't mean to click that button and call you.
Then, they act like they're wondering why a certain secret chat got created. They ask me to send a screenshot to see if I also have the mysterious secret chat!
But in the meantime, they'd already tried to login to my account, and sent a verification code to login. The verification code IS IN THE SCREENSHOT THEY GOT ME TO SEND THEM!!! (**^%@IYY$!!! -
I finally figured that out when talking to a friend. I didn't realize until like an hour later THEY'D ALREADY GOTTEN CONTROL OF MY ACCOUNT BY THAT CODE!!! For Pete's sake.

A good reminder to keep our discernment on at all times. Let's not fall for this kind of stuff.

Our dear friend & meditation teacher Jasmuheen calls our current transitional process: "The Bridge of YES and NO."
I love that.
The Bridge of Yes and No.
As we transition from the old world of separation into the new world of peace and harmony, we will be presented with many opportunities to say YES/NO to what works and what nolonger works.
YESs and NOs on a personal level and on a collective level.
We are maturing and outgrowing many old paradigms. We are getting stronger & wiser. We are strengthening our muscles of clarity, integrity, and discernment.
So many opportunities to learn, grow, and evolve these days.

What interesting times we're in. So much coming to the surface for us to examine. To say "Yes" or "No Thank You."
