Judge Vince Chhabria (Northern District of California) dismissed this case within hours—without reading expert testimony from Ladapo, McCullough, Bhattacharya, and others.

He did not engage with the Cruzan vs. Jacobson distinction we raised.

The Constitution does not allow the government to secretly override parents.

In California, a public school treated a young girl as a boy for nearly a year — without telling her parents. They only learned the truth after their daughter attempted suicide. This secrecy was not accidental. State policy required it.

That is why AFLDS filed an amicus brief in Mirabelli v. Bonta — to stop the state from forcing schools to deceive families and to reaffirm that government has no authority to make or conceal medical or identity decisions about children behind parents’ backs.

Parental rights are not optional. And they do not belong to the state.
