You know what makes me especially happy? Our book is being read not only by parents, but by children too!
That's how a true love of reading is born - together, side by side 💛

Friends, I want to tell you something curious that many don't even notice on first reading! 👀
You won't believe it, but every single illustration in our book is thoughtfully planned. Literally every one!
The book is designed so you can read it together with your child and discuss the pictures. And here's what's important - we have a picture on every page! And each picture actually corresponds to what's written in the text right next to it.
Very often in children's books, the text is on one page and the picture is on another. Try reading like that with a two-year-old... it's inconvenient to point with your finger and discuss. But we thought of that!
And you know what's most interesting?
In our book, two families live - a blonde family and a brunette family!
Moreover, they even have different life situations. The blonde dad rarely appears in the pictures - he works a lot and can't be with his family as often as he'd like. And the brunette dad appears often - he works remotely. Relatable, right?)))
There are also animals, cats, dogs, and even a surprised squirrel 🐿😂
The colors are a separate story!
We fine-tuned every shade. All colors are natural, pastel, calming. When we were making the book, we quickly flipped through - oh, too much red! We added more green. Balance is important.
But the most important thing - all the illustrations correspond to the world of a child under three years old!
When children look at the book, they can name any picture. "Dad, look, this is that, and this is this!"
When I first saw how a child looked at my book and voiced the pictures, I cried. Honestly. Because I really fought for these illustrations for a very long time.
Let me tell you:
There's a picture where a girl is playing with chairs. On the chairs are blankets, flags, lanterns. And there was... a mop leaning against the chair. Of course, I told the artists: "Guys, a mop?! Any mom will see that this is unsafe - the mop could fall on the child!"
Or there was an iron lying face down. "Are you serious?! That's unsafe❗️ The iron should be turned off and standing vertically!"
The people drawing didn't have children. And I checked every detail with a mother's eyes.
And of course, at the beginning of the book, two girls - that's us, the co-authors of our book.
The blonde is a prototype of me and the brunette is a prototype of Tatyana.
What's funny:
When people hear about the two families - blondes and brunettes - they say: "Oh! I read the book and didn't notice! I'll look again!"
Yes, yes, they look at the book again and are surprised 😊
So if you have our book - look more carefully. Find both families, the surprised squirrel, and notice how the dads appear differently on the pages. It's a whole story in pictures! ❤️
