LET'S ON OUR SINS SINCERELY IN SHA ALLAH

"امام اوزاعی کی آنسوؤں سے تر ہوجانے والی نماز"
"The Prayer Mat of Imam Awza'i Soaked with Tears"

اسحاق بن حماد النمری کہتے ہیں:
Ishaq bin Hammad Al-Namri says:

میری والدہ (امام) اوزاعی کے گھر آیا کرتی تھیں۔
My mother used to visit the house of Imam Awza'i.

ایک دن دیکھا کہ اوزاعی کا مصلیٰ بھیگا ہوا ہے۔
One day, she noticed that Imam Awza'i's prayer mat was wet.

انہوں نے گھر کی خادمہ سے کہا:
She asked the housemaid:

"تیرا ناس ہو! مجھے لگتا ہے کسی بچے نے اوزاعی کے مصلیٰ پر پیشاب کر دیا ہے۔"
"May you be ruined! It seems that some child has urinated on Awza'i's prayer mat."

اس خادمہ نے ان کی بات سن کر قسم کھائی:
The maid swore in response:

جب انہوں نے سختی سے پوچھا تو خادمہ کہنے لگی:
When my mother insisted firmly, the maid said:

"یہ مصلیٰ ہر صبح آنسوؤں سے اسی طرح بھیگ جاتا ہے۔"
"Every morning, the prayer mat becomes wet like this — from tears."

(الجرح والتعدیل ۱/۲۱۸)

The Quran is a spiritual cure for inner wounds—emotional pain, anxiety, grief, and sorrow. Many Muslims find comfort, guidance, and healing through its recitation, reflection, and connection with Allah. This is supported by verses like:

“And We send down in the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers…”
(Surah Al-Isra, 17:82)

The healing it provides is primarily spiritual and emotional, offering:

Peace of heart (Sakina)

Strength through trials

Clarity and purpose

Hope and forgiveness


Abu Dawud (rahimahullah) said:

I entered upon Karaz al-Harithi (rahimahullah) and found him crying, so I said,

“What makes you cry?”

He said: “I did not read my portion of the Qur’an yesterday, and I think it is due to a sin I committed.”

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas Radiallahu anhu: The Prophet(ﷺ) used to seek Refuge with Allah for Hasan and Husain
Radi Allahu Anhum and used to say: "Your forefather (Ibrahim Alaihi Salam) also used to seek Refuge with Allah for Ismael and Isaac (Alaihi salam) by reciting these words

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لامَّةٍ

Aawuzu bikalimatillahit-tammah
Min kulli shaytaaniw wa hamma Wamin kulli aynillammah

O Allah! I seek Refuge with Your Perfect Words from every devil, and from poisonous creatures and from every evil harmful eye
Sahih Bukhari:590
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حسن و حسین رضی اللہ عنہما کے لیے پناہ طلب کیا کرتے تھے اور فرماتے تھے کہ تمہارے بزرگ دادا ( ابراہیم علیہ السلام ) بھی ان
کلمات کے ذریعہ اللہ کی پناہ اسماعیل اور اسحاق علیہ السلام کے لیے مانگا کرتے تھے

*🤲🏻اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّى عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ و علٰى اٰلِ مُحَمَّد كَمَا صَلَّيْت عَلٰى ابراهيم و عَلٰى اٰلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ انَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَجِيْد*
*🤲🏻اللّٰهُم بَارِك على مُحَمَّدٍ و علٰى اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ علٰى إِبْرَاهِيمَ و علٰى اٰلِ ابراهيم اِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَجِيْد*
(O Allah! Bestow Your Mercy Upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and upon Ibraheem علیہ السلام and the family of Ibraheem علیہ السلام.)

• For your Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—and he is the one protected from sin, used to make a tremendous supplication and repeat it in the opening of his prayer:

• He would say: O Allah, distance me from my sins as You have distanced the East from the West. O Allah, purify me from my sins as a white garment is purified from dirt. O Allah, wash me of my sins with snow, water, and hail.
