ASSALAMU ALAIKUM WARAHMATUALLAHI WABARAKATUHU
LISTEN TO THE WORD OF ALLĀH
Ibn 'Abbās رضي الله عنه said: "Whoever listens to a verse of the Qur'ān, it is a light for him."
● [التبيان في آداب حملة القرآن]
Shaik Ibn Bāz رحمه الله said:
"The listener to the Qur'ān shares in reward with the reciter: for every letter [of Qur'ān that is listened to] there is a good deed, and very good deed is rewarded ten-fold
● [فتاوى نور على الدرب]
Shaikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah: Listening to the Qur’an is the means to obtaining Mercy from Allaah.

"So when the Qur'an is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy." 7:204
