🇺🇸 10 Dead, Dozens Wounded in New Orleans Islamic Terror Attack:

During New Years Eve festivities on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, a man plowed into the celebrating crowds killing ten and wounding 30 others. The FBI has identified the perpetrator, who has been killed in an ensuing firefight with the police, as the 42-year old Shamsud-Din Jabbar. An ISIS flag has been found in his truck - marking it as another Islamic terror attack.

Marking the end of five decades of it being a major share of the European energy market, Ukraine has finally cancelled the transit of Russian gas through its territory - the previous agreements did not extend beyond the passing of the last year. Protests coming from Slovakia in the final weeks of 2024 did nothing to avail the coming of the new reality.
The EU has over the course of the Russo-Ukrainian War made a major switch to Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) from the US.

Hungary however will still continue receiving Russian gas through Turkish pipelines under the Black Sea.

🇵🇸 Gazan Death Count Might be Significantly Underestimated:

Using a ‘capture-recapture’ method combining various sources, a study in the British medical journal The Lancet estimates that the total number of direct Gazan deaths since October 7 is underestimated by 41% up until the 30th of June 2023, and that if the Gazan Health Ministry puts it at 46.000 as of today the actual number suggested is over 70.000.

It should be kept in mind that these are direct deaths and that taking into account indirect deaths as well the number will be much higher. The Lancet previously put the combined number at 187.000 back in July last year based upon Gazan Health Ministry figures.

🇦🇹 Austrian Kindergarten Promoting Perversion:

2 children in Austria were expelled from their Kindergarten after their parents questioned the showing of drawings of a naked male-to-female transsexual with a penis; along with other depictions of naked children showering with adults.

The CEO of the Kindergarten in response claimed children between 1 to 6 need ‘sexual education’.

🇩🇪 New Merkel Memoir Met With All-Round Criticism:

Angela Merkel’s recently released memoir Freiheit has been widely criticized for the unapologetic stance she takes in it.

She defends the various policies she implemented from both her traditional critics as well as the former establishment, which used to applaud her – presenting all decisions she made as ones without any alternatives: the stirring up of the migrant crisis, the gutting of the military and infrastructure, the denuclearization of Germany and the naivete in regards to Russia.

She even admits to working with Putin to circumvent sanctions.

🇧🇪 Film Crew Extorted in Brussels’ Molenbeek:

While filming the movie Rebel in Molenbeek, Brussels, a film crew was forced to pay local thugs for safety.

This came after threats of violence, including molotov cocktails. With police offering little support, they tripled their security budget to continue working.

If such texts (tame as they are) are criminalized, it will gradually become impossible to express any criticism of current policies.

What the Justice Department, however, seems to fail to understand is that when the boundary between legal and illegal is shifted so far that only "illegal" remains, the distinction between types of actions also disappears. After all, it is all illegal.

In this way, the Justice Department ultimately pushes people into the corner of extremism themselves.

UPDATE- The court has sentenced both men to 6 months in prison.

This in turn means that from now on, slogans like "white lives matter" are officially deemed hate speech and thus illegal within the Netherlands.

It is a dark day today for anyone Dutchman who cares about their people, or freedom of expression.
