Today June 28, 2024, a large M7.2 Earthquake struck below South Peru in South America.
This new large earthquake is the first M7+ earthquake for the whole planet since the West Pacific unrest about 2 months ago. Additionally, this new M7.2 earthquake is the largest for South America in many months, and the largest of the year for Peru (so far up until the end of June).
Keep watch for a new spread to take place possibly as a result of the compensation movement , we should watch the West Pacific by Solomon Islands for an additional similar sized event in the nearterm.

After the M3's going across the plate, this was the last location mentioned last week before I took my 7 day vacation.
Today is day 7-8 of the 7 day forecast.
Check this location off the list if you were keeping track.
Remember, the rare M4 off the Southeast coast they blamed on a Navy Test.. and the M4.0 in Texas, and the M4.0 in California (all this past week leading up to this now in the northeast USA).
The past 7 days of earthquakes shows the progression from the M4.0 out in California , through the M3.0's in Texas to the new same sized M3.4 now in New York on the East Coast.

The whole process starts with deep earthquakes at the X's.
A large seismic wave is spreading up from below the plates, across the whole planet, dropping off earthquakes along the way as it spreads.
This is NOT one earthquake causing the other, rather this is a greater power / force / energy / wave that is spreading, which is then resulting in somewhat equidistantly spaced earthquakes spreading out over the course of DAYS across the whole planet.
Standing wave principles apply if you understand what those are!
The seismic wave comes up from the core of the Earth (vibrating up towards the surface) -- the seismic wave spreads out following the arrow paths (like a river flooding following a path of least resistance along the plate boundaries and different craton edges).
The plates absorb the seismic wave off the plate boundaries.. and then the seismic wave spreads across the craton edges of each plate it comes into contact with.
When a plate absorbs this "seismic wave", more earthquakes develop along the craton edges of each absorbing plate, creating more earthquakes as the low frequency / electrical waves spreads further .
Ultimately the seismic wave is spreading to the other side of the planet (or as near to that as it can reach) which is shown where the X's are.
Summed up:
Deep earthquakes start the very low frequency seismic wave process down below the plates where the letter D's are.
Then the seismic wave spreads (dropping off shallower larger earthquakes along the way) along the edges of each plate boundary.
Then the seismic wave is absorbed by these plates as the wave tries to equalize across the whole planet, which drops off more earthquakes across each plate interior.
Whole process usually takes up to 7-10 days from the point of the deep quakes until the letter X's are hit on the opposite side of the planet...
The process can take as little as 1=2 days in some major unrest events in the past, usually it takes about one week for the spread to go out and a new spread to start back at the letter D's again with new deep earthquakes starting the process over again in the seismic wave cycle.
The whole process is influenced and excited by strong solar wind / charged particle storms effecting the magnetosphere, ionosphere, and electrical discharge to the core of the Earth (ground). Solar storms cause new deep earthquake events, which then result in the spreading seismic waves, resulting in earthquake activity increasing after the power from the solar storm is transferred to the core of the Earth.

Full update on Italy and Campi Flegri supervolcano from On the Pulse with Silki !
I agree that this situation is getting a little wild.
To the people in Italy I would say this: Don't be scared , BE PREPARED. If a supervolcano were to erupt the whole of South Italy would be destroyed, so unless they evacuate everyone in the entire portion of South Italy, evacuation is pointless except for those whose houses have been cut off from services (water, electric, gas or sewer cut off by broken lines etc).
My suggestion is: Let everyone go there, everyone stay put where they're at.
I PERSONALLY DO NOT THINK IT WILL ERUPT! This is just my opinion, while others think it may erupt for good reason.
I have my own ideas of why this area is moving, which are fringe ideas indeed.
Everyone else is concerned more than I am on this particular region.
I would be willing to take any land that anyone wants to give me for safe keeping and management until this thing calms down. (humor)
My assessment is:
The supervolcano is excited right now as the seismic wave is being redirected to the location due to a plate boundary shift that must have occurred down by Western Greece.
This then is directing the seismic wave into the nearby large feeder magma chamber for Campi Flegri , which is resulting in uplift and major seismic increase.
There should be a big break down by the Ionia range in Greece (offshore to the West) which then sends the seismic wave back up the plate boundary in East Italy to North Italy.
Right now the wave is going from Greece to Campi Flegri!
Notice that the seismic activity has dropped off up in North Italy / Croatia/ Slovakia / as well as dropped off in Bosnia, Romania, and Poland... the wave is being absorbed by Campi Flegri at the plate boundary juncture it would appear.
I understand why people are concerned, but I think the reason the volcano is currently "rising" is because the wave is pumping up the magma chamber.
If I lived there, I wouldn't listen to anyone, and would not evacuate unless my house was literally cut off by cracked ground due to uplift.
If it blows in a legitimate supervolcanic eruption, everyone would have to evacuate from Rome South to Sicily in my opinion.
Silki is doing a good job of covering this from a concerned perspective!!!
I am super skeptical on the professionals assessment of this situation due to past issues of mistaking volcanic eruptions for this "seismic wave".
It happened at Yellowstone in the past, up to M7.5 earthquake activity next to Yellowstone (instead of an eruption).
Worth paying attention to and I'm glad she is covering this in the way she is covering it -- if anything happens its better to error on the side of caution --- but I wouldn't evacuate everyone in my opinion.
