This is the expected return to M6 level activity, striking between the M5's as explained in this weeks earthquake forecast video.

ALERT: A large M6.6 earthquake and small tsunami has now struck off the coast of Japan! Torishima Island area.

"Japan's Izu Islands are under a tsunami advisory after a magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck nearby in the Pacific Ocean.

The islands are in Tokyo Prefecture and south of the capital. The Japan Meteorological Agency is warning of a possible tsunami.

The notice was issued at 11:10 a.m. Japan time on Thursday."

The dutchess makes a rare voice appearance towards the end of this video, unfortunately her debut on the channel is under duress and extreme circumstances which required her to speak.

As for this update, the areas which were warned a few days ago (Nepal, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines) have all been struck by near M6.0 level or greater activity .  Japan M6.6, Nepal M6.0 (M5.7), Taiwan M5.7, Philippines M6.4.

May still go 1 magnitude higher and now I need to issue a 3rd warning. The first 2 have already hit as expected.

New warning now: Potential 1 magnitude larger from the M6.6 in the next 3-5 days or less, location along the plate boundary just next to the current swarm. But with this size possible event we must warn everyone from Taiwan / Okinawa to Hokkaido / Kuril islands on the North side... likely the center being the break point.

UPDATE ON JAPAN:

As we were watching for, now we see same sized movement on both sides of Japan.....like book ends with the large quake in the middle.. M4.9 on the South side down at Taiwan, and M4.8 (M4.9) on the North side up at the Kuril Islands!

Whole area moving, but the wave has not spread beyond the region (obviously since a new M6.1 hit back in the middle between the "book ends")

Keep watch ! With the standing wave going back and forth on the plate boundary without leaving to Alaska Russia or China..... Things may yet go a full magnitude larger in Japan from the M6.6 yesterday.

Keep watch in Hawaii for the seismic increase expected to go back up to upper M4+ (and possible volcanic reflare-up again at Kilauea).

I do not think Campi Flegrei supervolcano will blow (in my opinion).

Possible larger earthquakes as the area rises and falls for sure.. but as for eruption now (current time).. I don't think so.
