🇺🇦🇬🇪 The Minister of Education of Ukraine thanked Georgia for supporting Ukrainian children.
This is a big, powerful support for Ukraine during the war. More than 100 countries have opened Ukrainian classrooms and allocated educational space for our children, and this is very important for all Ukrainians. Our students must have the opportunity to receive an education that is essential for their future. Many thanks to the Georgian people, all of Georgia, our friends for this important and powerful support,” said Sergey Shkarlet.
ℹ️ By the decision of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, Ukrainian sectors were created in the 41st school named after Grushevsky in Tbilisi and the 20th school in Batumi, where education takes place according to a unified Ukrainian curriculum. 🏳️‍🌈🚫🇬🇪 A protest rally was held near the building of the EU Delegation in Tbilisi.
Several dozen anti-LGBT movement participants gathered on Chavchavadze Avenue with placards that state "Diplomats - hands off our children", "Idiot ambassadors must be expelled from the country." All this was accompanied by crossed out photographs of European ambassadors. This is due to the fact that earlier diplomats have repeatedly expressed words of support for LGBT movements in Georgia and pointed out the importance of equal rights in society.
👮🏻‍♂️Police detained several representatives of violent groups, including protest leader Guram Palavandishvili.
🇪🇺 Let me remind you that this week the EU commission will consider Georgia's application for EU candidate status.

According to her, “It is unimaginable and defies logic that the activation of pro-Russian, violent, homophobic, anti-European groups at the most important moments for the country is uncontrollable. These are deliberate actions that damage the European path of Georgia and do not reflect the opinion of the people.”
