🏦 Georgian billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili won a lawsuit against the Swiss bank "Credit Suisse": the Supreme Court of Bermuda determined the amount of compensation to be paid to the ex-premier of Georgia.
According to a Bloomberg article, the Swiss bank must transfer $607 million to Ivanishvili, which will be backed up by a final decision in the near future. We are talking about a dispute that Ivanishvili started after fraudulent transactions committed by his former personal banker Patrick Lescadron. He pleaded completely guilty, saying that he had falsified Ivanishvili's signature since 2008, but the Georgian billionaire's lawyers considered that he could not make transactions without the knowledge of the bank.

The President calls her decision political, not legal:

👮🏻‍♂ In Sighnaghi municipality, a nursing home will be closed with a scandal.
The State Guardianship Agency will resettle the "Tsnori" institution. The elderly were kept there in unsanitary conditions, while the necessary medical care was not actually provided. 21 people live there (the maintenance of 17 is subsidized by the state). The apparatus of the People's Defender of Georgia reported about inadequate conditions. Representatives of the Ombudsman found a shocking picture in the institution: the old people wore old and dirty clothes, some of them had not taken a shower for months, and there was an unpleasant smell inside the building.
