October 25, 2022 - a partial solar eclipse will take place - a phenomenon when the Moon comes between the Sun and Earth, but the Moon only partially covers the Sun's disk. This is not only amazing, but also very dangerous for the eyes. You shouldn't look at the sun without special protective filter - simple binoculars or a telescope will not protect you.
⏰ In Georgia, the eclipse will begin at 13:48 and end at 16:20, the peak (the black disk of the Moon will cover 58% of the sun) is expected at 15:08. According to forecast the weather is going to be cloudy with clearings, so we have a good chance of seeing a solar eclipse.

This international project will be held on the territory of "Factory Tbilisi"- former Coca-Cola factory transformed into a contemporary art space. Exhibitions, concerts, performances, master classes, public discussions and other events will take place there.
ℹ️ Tbilisi Culture Week was created to support Ukraine, and after a local debut, it will move to European capitals. The main goal of the project is to tell about current events in the world and Ukraine in the language of art.

🇬🇪🇺🇦 The assistance programme for Ukrainians stranded in Georgia by the ongoing war in their country has been extended for six months, until May 1, 2023.
Health Minister Zurab Azarashvili stated this at a briefing after the government meeting:
“As you know, the government has been actively supporting Ukrainian nationals since February. We have special points at the borders where they can apply for help. We provide support for families with monthly rent and also ensure social assistance. These are exactly the same rates that IDPs from [Georgia’s Russian-occupied] Abkhazia and Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) have.”
ℹ️ According to the official, today in Georgia, 500 families from Ukraine receive 300 lari per family (about $100) as a financial assistance, and 1050 people receive monthly social assistance - 45 lari ($18) per person. To obtain these payments, citizens of Ukraine should apply to the centers of the social service agency.
💳 Payments are credited to a bank card. If you don't have one, you will be provided with it, if you have identification documents with you. Funds are credited to the account within 10-20 days.
☎️ Additional information is available on the hotline of the Ministry of Health of Georgia at the short number: 1505.

Plain packaging should reduce the attractiveness of tobacco, and the consumer should not distinguish one brand from another at a glance. According to the amendment to the law, it is prohibited to display a brand, a logo, a trademark or another element by depicting them on the packaging and on each cigarette. Any innoscription on the packaging (except medical warnings) of tobacco product shall be made in a single unified font in Georgian language and the country where it was manufactured shall be indicated. Most of the box will be occupied by labels and pictograms warning about health risks.
