The Policy and Governance Advisory Group study looks at the Georgian labor market and its performance in the 15-24 age group in 2017-2021. 🇬🇪🇺🇦 The Government of Georgia, with the support of the UN Children's Fund, will provide one-time financial assistance to Ukrainian families with children located in the country.
Families who arrived in Georgia after February 1, 2022 will receive 470 lari (about $175) for each child. To receive financial assistance, one of the parents or the legal representative of the child must apply to the regional branch of the social service agency before March 1 of this year. Addresses of district social service centers can be found HERE. In other cities, check the address through the help desk. You must bring your child's passport/birth certificate, your passport and, in case of guardianship, a supporting document.

The first in the Caucasus and the fourth in the USSR (after Moscow, Leningrad and Kyiv) metro in Tbilisi recently turned 57 years old: it was opened on January 11, 1966. On that day, the launch of the Didube-Rustaveli section took place. At the time of opening, there was only one branch and it included six stations: Rustaveli, Marjanishvili, Station Square, Oktyabrskaya (now Nadzaladevi), Elektrodepo (now Gotsiridze) and Didube.
In 2017, the 23rd, the last station at the moment, the State University, was opened. Now two lines are operating: Akhmeteli-Varketili (red) and Saburtalo (green). Announcements in underground carriages are read in Georgian and English, station names are also written in Georgian and English.

Compliance of the applicant country with these "chapters" is necessary to start negotiations on EU membership. Speaking about the evaluation report, Jozwiak noted that "it is clear that Georgia will receive the best evaluation, which is the result of many years of work by pro-European and somewhat reform-oriented governments". According to him, Georgia is assessed as "medium prepared", including in the areas of economy and finance. However, the country lags behind in the areas of law, intellectual property and agriculture.

Looking at these monochrome works, you catch yourself thinking that the modern Georgian artist Guram Dolendzhashvili can create a snowy winter no worse than mother nature, which paints with it's invisible hand. But the author uses just a simple pencil. Hundreds of thousands of short strokes, stunning chiaroscuro and black and white landscape in the style of realism, filled with ringing silence and sparkling snow. The artist himself was born in Imereti (Western Georgia) where snow is rare. Therefore, he devoted most of his work to his native land, refusing to sell paintings even for big money.
