🇬🇪❤️🇺🇦 Thousands of people came out on February 24, 2023 in Tbilisi for a rally in support of Ukraine.
The rally in the Georgian capital in front of the Parliament is held under the slogan "This is Georgia - Glory to the Heroes!". Many words about European integration, support for Ukraine, occupation and aggression of Russia are heard from the stage. The organizers are opposition parties and movements. They were joined by Ukrainian activists living in Tbilisi. Citizens of Russia and Belarus are also present at the action.

🇬🇪 February 25 is the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Soviet Occupation in Georgia.
In memory of tens of thousands of those arrested and killed, flags were flown at half mast on state buildings in Georgia: at the residence of the president, parliament, and administrations of the country's regions.
ℹ️ 102 years ago - on February 25, 1921, the Soviet army, after fierce battles, captured Tbilisi and overthrew the government of Georgia.
❗️The consequences of the Soviet terror are still being found

🇬🇪🏀 Georgian national basketball team reached the final stage of the World Championship!
The team lost the decisive match in Tbilisi to the Icelandic team with a score of 77-80, but still, in the end, for the first time in history, it reached the final part of the prestigious tournament. It will be held in Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines from August 25 to September 10, 2023.

Decree of the Government of Georgia No. 81 dated February 24, 2023 amended Decree No. 255 dated June 5, 2015, according to which the period of visa-free stay in the country for citizens of Ukraine is increased to 2 years.

❗️ If a foreign citizen changed his passport in Georgia, he must have the old one with him when leaving.
I quote the story of one of the subscribers who asked to share it so no one would get into such a situation (in general, I know three such sad cases):
"Usually people share stories about how they were not allowed into Georgia, but they refused to let me out at the Tbilisi airport. I received a second foreign passport of the Russian Federation and went with it, leaving the old one at home. It turns out that you can leave Georgia only with the same document with which you entered or with a certificate of replacement / loss of a passport. It would be nice to share that story so no one else would get into this situation."

This is not the first time that the company's employees take part in scooter riots, but this time, according to the organizers, they expect several hundred participants to take part in the action. Their requirements have remained unchanged for several weeks:
✔️ increase the rate by 20 tetri for each kilometer of delivery
✔️ increasing the basic cost of the trip to 3.5 GEL
✔️ dismissal of the local head of the company
✔️ the consent of the management to the collective meeting
