🔨We have a proposal from the community regarding the ticker generation algorithm for a token issued by a bridge in the destination network.

🎮The current process involves adding the prefix "sb" to the ticker when creating a token in the destination network. For instance, if a user wants to transfer tokens from network A to network B, and the token does not yet exist in network B, the bridge will issue it in network B with the ticker prefixed as "sbTST" (for example, if the original token ticker is TST).

❔A modification to this logic is proposed. It consists in not adding the prefix "sb" to the token created in the destination network.

🗳On this occasion we are launching a vote with 2 options:
⏺Save current logic. Add "sb" prefix to token's ticker in the destination network.
⏺Change logic. Save the original token's ticker in the destination network

🌉Space Bridge update

✅Images and bridge tests are successfully completed.

⚙️During testing, it came to light that contracts for Ether-like networks are not currently as gas-efficient as desired. To enhance user experience and minimize gas costs, a decision has been made to optimize these contracts. This improvement is projected to lead to gas savings of 🤑2-3 times compared to the initial contracts.

⏱ Based on our estimations, the contract deployment, bridge initiation and the network launch are anticipated to take around 6-8 hours.
