For Teachers Submitting by Email

To be considered for the program, please submit a complete application package which includes:

1. Completed application form
2. Two essays that include detailed answers to all questions
3. Certified copies of your Bachelor’s/Master’s diplomas with trannoscripts
4. If you have, copies of other degrees/certificates received with English translation
5. Recent passport size photo
6. Completed recommendation form
7. A signed copy of the Application Certification Statement

Answer: The maximum number of words for each essay is 600.

Dear RPM applicants,

Hope you are staying safe!
Thanks for your interest in the ESN: STT program!

We have received more than 2000 applicants from all regions of Uzbekistan. And this is great!
ESN team has thoroughly reviewed all applications and more than 700 RPM were defined as semifinalists.
The next selection stage is English Language skills testing which will take place once the quarantine is over.
Continue following our channel, more information about next selection stage will posted as the testing dates are confirmed.
For now, reminding you that the main RPM selection criteria at the first stage are the following:
- Complete application with additional documents (essay, scan of diploma, reference letter) sent to esn@americancouncils.org;
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a secondary school teacher;
- Currently a full-time faculty member, teacher trainer or teacher of English as a Foreign Language in teacher training institution or a secondary school.

Dear Regional Peer Mentor (RPM) Semifinalist,

The World Health Organization has declared that COVID-19 is a worldwide pandemic. Due to its capacity to transmit from person-to-person through respiratory droplets, the government of Uzbekistan has applied and enforced recommendations, guidelines and some prohibitions to which American Councils for International Education strictly adheres to and complies by.

American Councils has put in place recommended preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 during any and all English Speaking Nation (ESN) activities including the administration of the TOEFL ITP test. In order to be successfully admitted to the testing site, please make sure to arrive at the registration desk already wearing a medical mask and medical gloves at the test center.

American Councils would like to inform you that by attending the TOEFL ITP test you are voluntarily assuming the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and/or death.

By attending the testing you voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregone risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to yourself including, but not limited to, illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that you may experience or incur in connection with your attendance at the TOEFL ITP test.

American Councils for International Education will conduct due diligence and adhere to social distancing policies, enforced public health guidelines, and, to a reasonable accommodation, ensure that safety and security of all RPM semifinalists is the utmost priority for the project.

Dear Regional Peer Mentor (RPM) Semifinalists,

American Councils would like to inform you that TOEFL ITP testing for the regions Namangan, Andijan, and Fergana are postponed until further notice. Semifinalists from the above mentioned regions shall be informed on when rescheduled testing will take place via email. Please make sure to check your email regularly for updates.

We understand that there are many questions and uncertainties regarding the current public health climate and the COVID-19 situation in Uzbekistan. American Councils and the English Speaking Nation are committed to keeping our program participants safe and healthy while testing. The ESN team will be in further contact shortly about health measures and steps to take to ensure all of our test takers are safe and taken care of.
