Note that SpaceX can easily slap an H100 or 10 onto a Starlink satellite, it's already set up host payloads. This will enable a direct measurement of demand elasticity.

Whether this is useful I'm not sure. The satellite can run inference but handing off for ground based

The largest bottleneck to scaling up are permitting and energy use (which is also limited by permitting).

There is no permitting in space, there is also unlimited and constant solar energy. So

That will be much easier than physically assembling data centers in space, and they already have the tech.
