A new benchmark showed that some AI models are better at specific coding languages than others.

The best overall is Anthropic's Sonnet 3.5, but Meta's Llama wins Go, and OpenAI wins Java and Ruby.

Good models for one language can also be bad for others, e.g. Google’s Gemini Pro 1.5 is GREAT for Go, but not so much for Java and Ruby.
