🎓 A Graduation Ceremony 🎓
Rafael: They’re playing Pomp and Circumstance and the graduates are filing in. Do you see your daughter? I don’t see my son.
April: No, we’re too far from the field and everybody is wearing a cap and gown. It’s hard to see who’s who.
Rafael: Oh, there’s the dean and I think that’s the commencement speaker behind her. You must be really proud of your daughter. I know I would be if my son were valedictorian.

🔔🌐 Wish 🌐🔔
'Wish' is a verb which talks about unreal or imagined situations. Because of this, it has some unusual verb patterns:
🌐A present wish
When we want to make a wish about a present situation, we use wish and a past simple or continuous verb.
♦️I don't have my umbrella. I wish I had my umbrella.
♦️She doesn't know the answer. I wish she knew the answer.
♦️You're at work, but you wish you were playing football, right?
🌐A past wish
When we want to make a wish about a past action or situation, we use wish and the past perfect [ had+past participle verb].
♦️I'm so tired. I wish I had slept for another hour last night.
♦️She knows she made a mistake. She wishes she hadn't been so silly.
♦️You were right. I shouldn't have quit my job. I wish I had listened to you.

Today's lesson on English with masters is about the short O sound Guys
❌Just be careful that there is a difference between American n British accent here,in American most of the short o sound words are pronounced as A(like dog,got,on,off...) while it's not like that in British❌
Let's speak up these examples :
🔵Tom got a lot of socks.
🔵 The frog hopped on the top.
🔵The octopus stopped over there.
🔵 I like olives a lot!
🔵 Bob got onto the bicycle.
🔵 The dogs and otters were playing.
🔵Stop! Look both ways before you cross the street!
🔵 I will crop the picture on top.
🔵 She made hair for the doll from a mop.
🔵Turn the lights on and off.
🔵The mop was a prop for the movie.
🔵 I got a dog!
🔵He got off the bus on my street.
