Elon Musk finally bought Twitter for 44 billion dollars, and he immediately made many changes in the company.

Right after the purchase, Musk fired some of Twitter’s top officials. He also sent a message to all his employees that he would fire 3,700 people, and he would send an email to each of them. Some media informed that Musk planned to sack nearly 75% of all the employees.

Other news said that Twitter would charge eight dollars a month for a blue tick mark next to account names on Twitter. This tick shows that Twitter verified somebody’s account. This information surprised many people, and many wondered about more news would come.

📰People trash many clothes/Fast fashion:

Every day, people throw away millions of pieces of clothing. Once they throw them away, they don’t usually think what happens to them. Many clothes from North America, Europe, or Australia go to countries like Ghana or India.

In Ghana, people recycle them; they call them dead White people’s clothes. The amount of clothes is so big that they can’t recycle them all. Around 40% become waste, and they end up in rivers and in the sea. In India, some old clothing become car insulation, mattresses, or cleaning cloths. Even these products become waste one day.

Clothing companies want to make a lot of money, and so they make too many clothes which don’t last very long. The work is called fast fashion. People throw clothes away quickly because they want to buy new ones.

📰900 flights to Qatar

Qatar is hosting the FIFA World Championship from November 20 until December 18.

The country expects 1.2 million visitors to arrive for the championship, which creates more than 900 flights every day. People set up a special area at Hamad International Airport for fans when they arrive or leave. Qatar will work use two airports in Doha, one of which it reopened only for the championship.

Qatar Airways has many planes ready for use in the second week of the championship. The airline expects that fans will book tickets once their teams get to the semi-final, and these planes will fly to the winning countries.
