When speaking of an event in the future you would generally use "for":
We've scheduled it for Friday May 18th.

But if you were speaking of the past you might use "on" instead.
They scheduled it on a Friday when I wasn't able to make it.

The verb 'help' is not used with the -ing form of another verb. It is used with the infinitive (with or without 'to') in any of these patterns:

help do something
help to do something
help someone do something
help someone to do something
Confused about “hangar” and “hanger”?

Don’t be.

One is for ✈️ plAnes (hangAr); the other is for clothes (hanger).
👤 The h in “historic” is pronounced, so it’s *a* historic day, not “an” historic day.

👤 In “hour,” the “h” is silent, so it’s *an* hour.

💁 “Criteria” is plural; its singular form is “criterion.”
