▪️1) Gerund can be used as the subject of the sentence.
🔺اسم مصدر، میشه بحیث فاعل جمله استفاده بشه.
🔅Example:

▪️2) Gerund can be used as the Object of the sentence.
🔺اسم مصدر، میشه بحیث مفعول جمله استفاده کرد.
🔅Example:

🔺اسم مصدر رو میشه بحیث مفعول حرف اضافه استفاده کرد.

🔴To lose one’s face!


Meaning:

👉🏿To lose one’s dignity.
👈بي آبرو شدن.

Examples:

✅I didn’t visit him, and I suppose I’ve lost my face.
من به عيادت او نرفتم و فكر كنم كه آبروم رفته است.

✅If you argue with me anymore, you’ll lose your face.
اگر از اين بيشتر با من جر و بحث كني بي آبرو ميشويد.

✅Try not to talk to her a lot;otherwise, you will lose your face and it’s beneath your dignity!
كوشش كنيد زيادي با اون حرف نزنيد وگرنه بي شخصيت ميشويد و اين به شأن شما نيست!

✍ Pronunciation Tips

👨‍🏫 When the letters 👉 T and R are used together, TR is pronounced CH.

And when the letters 👉 D and R are used together, DR is pronounced J.

✍ Grammar

👨‍🏫 کاربرد "Whether............or"

🔴 کلمات فوق جزو کلمات ربط هستند و در معانی 《که آیا ............ یا》و 《 چه ............. چه》 به کار می روند.

👈 سه جمله زیر را حفظ کنید.

✅ We can not decide whether we stay at home or go out.

نمی توانیم تصمیم بگیریم که آیا در منزل بمانیم و یا بیرون برویم.

✅ You can always enjoy sport whether you are young or old.

شما می توانید همیشه از ورزش لذت ببرید چه جوان باشید چه پیر.

✔ نوت:
می توان Whether or not را با هم نیز در معنی زیر بکار برد:

✅ Whether or not we are successful, we know that we have done our best.

چه موفق باشیم چه نباشیم، می دانیم که نهایت سعی خود را کرده ایم.

🔴IF I WAS:
👉It’s used to show the past situation that was a bit impossible to be done and that was a real situation!!

⚪️When you use if clause the first using comma is very important; otherwise, don’t use comma!


🟠Of course in casual spoken among native speakers it’s common to say “If I was” in imaginary situations!
