Exchanging Monero to ETH
Ethereum (Reddit)

Hi folks, as the noscript says, I am looking for a way to swap my Monero to Ethereum, i need an exchange that wont freeze my orders like Changelly/Changenow does, since my size is worth approx 14 ETH.

I am also closed at the idea to use a centralized option or exchange due to their delisting/withdrawal or hold risks on Monero and I don't neither like so much the idea of P2P; its an headache all the time and it has big slippage. Any suggestion? Thanks to you!
Is it worth investing in mining now or is ETH staking safer?
Ethereum (Reddit)

I've been reading mixed opinions: some say that by 2025 mining is basically dead and that staking Ethereum is the only thing that makes sense long term. Others argue there's still profit if you choose good hardware and cheap energy.

Personally, I've tried staking, but I also started looking into mining solutions that promise to be more plug-and-play, like HashMole, where you don't really have to deal with the technical side.

How do you see the balance between staking and mining over the next 2-3 years?
A Proposed Model for a True Utility Token: Fixing the Broken Creator Gig Economy
Ethereum (Reddit)

Hey r/ethereum,
I've been designing a system to solve a problem that affects a huge part of the creative world: the current gig economy for creators is slow, expensive, and built on trust in powerful middlemen. Brands struggle to manage large-scale influencer campaigns, and individual creators often wait months to get paid, losing a significant cut along the way.
I initially posted this on the more niche, developer-focused r/ethdev to get some deep technical feedback. To get a much broader perspective on the real-world challenges, I'm bringing the conversation here.
The Proposed Solution (A Two-Part System):
1. The Engine: A Decentralized Bounty Board
An on-chain marketplace where anyone can post a creative gig (a paid review, a logo design, a video edit, etc.) for a global pool of talent.
2. The Fuel: The $RESONANCE Utility Token
This is the core of the model, designed to make the engine trustless. The token is not for speculation; it's a necessary mechanical component with three specific jobs:
Trustless Escrow: Brands fund bounties with the token, and a smart contract holds it, guaranteeing automatic and instant payment to the creator upon completion.
Community Governance: The token is used to vote on the platform's rules and treasury, making it a community-owned utility, not a for-profit corporation.
Staking for Reputation: Users (both brands and creators) can stake the token to establish a reputation score, which acts as a security deposit to prevent spam and signal commitment.
The Key Insight: The bounty board is just another freelance site without the token providing trustless escrow. The token is a useless asset without the bounty board giving it a constant, tangible job to do. This symbiotic relationship is designed to create a self-sustaining economic loop where the token's value is directly tied to the platform's usage, not market hype.
I'm looking for feedback on the biggest non-technical hurdles to adoption. What are the major user experience (UX) challenges, marketing pitfalls, or community-building problems a project like this would face in the real world?
Depin
Ethereum (Reddit)

Can we talk eth based DePins? Theres helium mobile which runs on solana. Y’all think there will ever be a time where the same runs on ethereum? Is that something anyone is working on currently? I know it may be a niche market but if solana can do it, imagine what it could be on ethereum.
This 'Option spread USDA+ strategy' > 'Pendle USDe loop strategy'
Ethereum (Reddit)

Autonomint has recently released a new stablecoin design that converts risk hedging into a yield-generating activity.

A user has earned 12% monthly returns translating to ~144% APYs.

Don't believe me? Just read this user's tweet -

Also, feel free to visit our TG group and talk to our users.

So, let me know explain how we do this

1. USDA+ is a decentralised stablecoin soft pegged to USD. It maintains it's peg via users hedging collateral volatility risk by buying synthetic options. This hedging allows USDA+ holders to generate yields without losing their ETH collateral upside and by being protected on the downside.

2. Users can convert hedging risk into a yield generating play

-> Users deposit ETH as collateral and mint USDA+

-> Autonomint deducts option fees from the minted USDA+ value. This option fees provides protection on 20% ETH price fall.

Option-based hedging offers a key advantage over Ethena’s perp-based strategy. Users can benefit in both directions:

> If ETH drops, they earn returns based on the price decline (hedge pays off).

> If ETH rises, they still capture the upside, minus a 3% fee on the gains.

User now deposits the minted USDA+ in Autonomint dCDS module and starts earning yield from option premiums from other users looking to hedge on their ETH deposits.

By doing this alone, you can earn the 8.33% monthly yields.

3. Now, coming to 'option spread strategy'

This 'option spread strategy' is 10x better than 'Ethena USDe looping strategy'

When users hedge their ETH on Autonomint, then their option fees is 60% cheaper than the monthly option fees priced on Deribit for ETH. Also, it involves 0 upfront cost at our platform, as the fees is deducted initially from the borrowed amount rather than asking user to pay out of his/her pocket.

Now, For 1 ETH price hedge, a ~ $100 option fees is deducted from the minted USDA+ value. User is now hedged on the downside for 1 month (short ETH)

Now go to Deribit or other option exchanges and sell a put option on 1 ETH for >$380 (as per current prices). This is for 1 month expiry

By selling put option, user goes long on ETH and by selling call option, user goes short on ETH and become fully delta neutral.

You can sell either as per your choice.

Net returns per month = $380 - $100 = $280

$280 monthly returns translates to a minimum of 5.833% yields over a principal of 1 ETH and margin amount in Deribit.

Now, if you do sell daily or weekly option price then this returns increases even higher.

These are upfront yields. No delay or waiting.

Over a year, it would be translating to >50% yields with some fluctuations in option prices considered.

You can add this yields to dCDS yields and your total sum of yields earned will be even higher.

Your ETH collateral doesn’t just sit idle, it earns additional yield (2.5%+) via AAVE when deposited through Autonomint.

And your ETH upside? Still yours. If ETH hits $5,000, you keep all the gains minus a small 3% deduction.

How to change username on Farcaster?
Ethereum (Reddit)

Does anyone know how to change the username on Farcaster (the easy/user friendly way)? I've tried on my profile and also with an HTML code, but it wasn't successful, perhaps because they've made a lot of changes in the app and now some actions are no longer supported. I have no idea on how to do this. Help!
