When he entered the 2021 Forbes Under 30 ranking, his FTX crypto exchange had recently raised $40 million at a value of $1.2 billion.

In addition to the link between the McDonalds verified Twitter account and the verified Rarible NFT account, CoinDesk found that one recipient of the NFTs associated with the address where the slur was posted, "BTCMike," had been contacted by McDonalds to receive the NFT:. Ultimately, the link between the transaction and the NFTs appears to be conclusive.

Crypto startup Palm NFT Studio said on Thursday it had raised $27 million in an early-stage funding round led by Microsoft Corp's venture fund M12 with participation from venture firm Griffin Gaming Partners.
Other investors in the latest Series B round included investment firms RRE, Third Kind Venture Capital, NFT investor Sfermion, and The LAO. Palm NFT Studio's chief executive officer Dan Heyman told Reuters in an interview that the company intends to use the capital to scale its platform by investing in research and development and hiring new talent.

The NFT was instantly swooped on and then reposted for sale at closer to $250,000.
The seller, maxnaut, told CNet he had meant to list Bored Ape number 3,547 for sale at 75 Ethereum (ETH) but a lapse in concentration saw him type in "0.75 ETH" ($2,989).

European gas prices surged as much as 5.9% Tuesday after closing at a record level on Monday - with tensions between Russia and Ukraine threatening to extend this year’s crunch into next winter.
Europe was already facing an energy supply shortage before geopolitical tensions flared up, a move that could further delay the start of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
Benchmark European gas prices traded in the Netherlands jumped to €122.92 a megawatt-hour, the highest since early October, when prices ballooned as much as 40% in just one day.
