Now that Spot has an arm in addition to legs and cameras, it can do mobile manipulation. It finds and picks up objects (trash), tidies up the living room, opens doors, operates switches and valves, tends the garden, and generally has fun. Motion of the hand, arm and body are automatically coordinated to simplify manipulation tasks and expand the arm's workspace, making its reach essentially unbounded.

SN9 Launch Highlights (1080p)
SpaceX’s Starship SN9 finally flew Tuesday then exploded spectacularly while landing during a test flight at the company’s facility in Boca Chica, Texas.
Despite the striking end, SpaceX said it considers the test to be a success because of the data that they were able to collect.
The company said the objective of Tuesday’s test was to demonstrate control of the spacecraft during the subsonic reentry phase, which includes the so-called belly-flop maneuver that is used to slow it down. SpaceX admitted there is more work to do on how to successfully land the Starship.

Why It Actually Took 50 Years to Make COVID mRNA Vaccines
The FDA recently approved two mRNA vaccines for COVID-19, but it was a challenge to make this type of vaccine work. And it took decades of research to get us to the point where scientists could make those vaccines as quickly as they did.
