The Egg Float Test Have you ever wondered if your eggs have gone bad? Well, there's a very simple way to check. Place the egg(s) in a bowl of water and observe what they do. If they sink and rest on their side, they're fresh. If they sink but stand on their…
I used this method today to test some eggs I found buried deep in one of our pine trees. A few of our hens have been hiding their eggs.
That's one of the only downsides to letting your chickens roam free, but it's well worth it because pasture-raised chickens are happy chickens, and the egg-quality from them is unmatched.

Bare feet in the grass, sun shining on the skin, breathing in the fresh air, eating a block of raw cheese, drinking ice cold spring water... life is good.

I strongly encourage you all to consider building out BOTH a Bug-out Bag and a Get-home Bag.
If you ever need to evacuate your home for whatever reason, you can quickly grab your Bug-out Bag and be good to go for about 72 hours.
If you're traveling somewhere, bring your Get-home Bag with you to ensure you're able to get home safely even if an unfavorable situation arises. Get-home Bags are typically set up as a 24-hour sustainment kit.
If you have any questions or would simply like to see more content about this topic, let me know, and I will gladly provide assistance.

In most cases, you can simply look at what society is doing, then do the complete opposite, and you'll be better off.

Instead of doing what society would deem as "normal" - in this instance spraying Glyphosate - one of the most toxic substances in existence on dandelions - one of the most healing and widely accessible plants around - pick them and make some tea.

It really is insane when you think about it...
Doctors will freak out if you tell them you've given your baby new foods "too early" but have no problem whatsoever with injecting them with toxic chemicals immediately after birth.
