Махмуд Халил — обладатель постоянного вида на жительство в США. Однако этот статус был отозван в рамках нового витка репрессий против палестинского движения, начатого с приходом к власти Трампа. Трамп лично прокомментировал задержание Махмуда, написал в своей социальной сети «Truth Social», что это «первый арест среди многих, которые последуют». Солидарные с Махмудом Халилом люди, в том числе анархист:ки, в эти дни организуются, чтобы выступить против репрессий.

На первый взгляд, новость об аресте участника палестинского движения в США кажется малоактуальной в нашем пост-советском контексте. Но это только на первый взгляд. События последних лет — подавление народного восстания в Беларуси, полномасштабная война в Украине, небывалый размах репрессий в России — привели к появлению на Западе довольно внушительного сообщества политизированных выходцев из этих стран. Предпринимаются попытки организовываться, заявлять о своей субъектности. И тут необходимо обратить внимание на опыт сообществ, которые уже многие годы сталкиваются на Западе с криминализацией, репрессиями, объявлениями «террорист:ками», с запретами организаций и депортациями, — например, на опыт курдского и палестинского сообществ. Потому что с подобным опытом можем столкнуться и мы.

Ситуация на Западе неблагоприятная. С одной стороны, растущая милитаризация ведёт к стремлению подавить все общественные силы, не вписывающиеся в государственнический консенсус и представления о «единой нации, вставшей на защиту своей безопасности». Особенно анархисто:к, тем более мигранто:к и бежен:ок. С другой стороны, всё чаще на Западе к власти приходят ультраправые силы, желающие «договориться» с путинским режимом, разделить с ним сферы влияния в колонизированных странах. Тот же Трамп. Это также не придаёт устойчивости нашему положению. Сегодня террорист:ками объявляют курдов и палестинцев. А завтра? Тех, кто выступает за партизанское сопротивление в России и Беларуси?

Опыт подвергающихся гонениям сообществ может стать и нашим. Поэтому важна солидарность, взаимопомощь, готовность приходить друг другу на помощь, бороться друг за друга.

The Antisemitic Plan to Smear Palestine Solidarity as Antisemitic

Trump's excuse for kidnapping Mahmoud Khalil is that Khalil engaged in "antisemitic" activity by protesting the genocide in Palestine.

In fact, Trump is using a playbook that was designed by the far-right Heritage Foundation to accuse Jews of "antisemitism."

This is a slide from a Heritage Foundation presentation that argues for political deportations like the targeting of Khalil. It purports to describe "Antisemitism's Ecosystem."

Look closely: “Soros” and Jewish Voice for Peace are at the tops of the columns noscriptd “Masterminds” and “Organizers.”

By depicting empathy for Palestinians as participation in “a global Hamas Support Network,” the Heritage Foundation aims to dehumanize Palestinians, terrorize all who do not support genocide, and forcibly subordinate all Jewish people to the Christian Nationalist agenda.

This is a fascist program. It will not make Jewish people any safer than Palestinians.

Declining profit rates have driven capitalists to focus on market speculation. Both Elon Musk and Donald Trump have made their fortunes chiefly by hype.

Now they are perpetrating this scam at the highest level of political power, using the instruments of the state to promote their products. Elon Musk is transferring $100 million to Donald Trump in return for this car commercial.

But what goes up must come down. The more wealth and power they concentrate in their hands, the clearer it is to everyone else that the system that elevated them deserves to be destroyed.

We honor the courage of the protesters arrested at Trump Tower in solidarity with Mahmoud Khalil.

Christian Nationalists aim to make themselves the arbiters of what counts as antisemitism in order to dehumanize Palestinians, discipline Jews who refuse to support genocide, and pave the way for fascism.

Trump made this clear enough yesterday, when he declared that a Jewish politician from the opposition had "become a Palestinian" by disagreeing with him.

Just as white nationalists justify racist violence by claiming to be "protecting women," Christian nationalists are attempting to use accusations of "antisemitism" to justify crackdowns, deportations, and genocide. Don't fall for it.

The Israeli military is bombing Gaza again, unilaterally breaching the ceasefire. Hundreds of people are already reported killed in Gaza.

They are not doing this because the Israeli government was not able to use diplomacy to achieve the goals that made them agree to the ceasefire.

They are doing this because, having achieved those intermediate goals, they are now in a position to resume the genocide, which is their chief goal.

Let no one make excuses for this attack. The Israeli military has already killed hundreds of Palestinian children for every Israeli child who was killed on October 7, 2023. They have already destroyed the schools and hospitals and rendered millions homeless.

This is genocide for the sake of colonial land theft, pure and simple.
