US Border agents just shot two people in Portland, Oregon today.
It's almost as if they are intentionally trying to desensitize us to their violence, to make us accept that they will kill whoever they want, whenever they want.
But if we do that, things will only get worse.
All around the country, we must flood the streets to show that we will not be intimidated. We have to build the capacity to defend our communities from the murderers and kidnappers in ICE. How we rise to this challenge will determine the future for all of us.

Se trata, como mínimo, del quinto movimiento de este tipo en una década, que se suma a las anteriores oleadas de disturbios laborales y resistencia feminista. Sin embargo, dentro de este levantamiento, los movimientos de base se enfrentan a monárquicos reaccionarios, en su mayoría radicados fuera de Irán, que buscan el apoyo de Estados Unidos e Israel para hacerse con el poder.

Donald Trump is no friend to Iranians. He is a vicious, hypocritical liar who has his goons shooting protesters in the US this very week. He wants to take advantage of an authentic, courageous liberation movement to rob Iranians the way he aims to rob Venezuelans.
The US military cannot do anything to contribute to anyone's freedom, neither in Iran nor anywhere else on earth. If the US intervenes in Iran, it will only be to put another oppressor in power.
Whenever we fight off one oppressor, we must immediately contend with all the other scum who would also like to oppress us. From Minneapolis to Iran, solidarity with all liberation movements—against all politicians and governments.

How do you topple an autocrat?
First, identify segments of his support base that are not permanently committed to his reign, but whose backing is essential to his power.
Analyze their interests. Identify what is more important to them than maintaining his reign. Identify their vulnerabilities.
Identify a form of activity that could put that segment of the autocrat’s supporters in a situation in which they will prefer to withdraw their support.
Engage in that activity—whatever it takes.
Repeat as needed until enough sectors of society shift their commitments.
The anti-Tesla protests of spring 2025 demonstrated the effectiveness of this strategy.
Facing a unified front of fascist demagogues, Christian nationalists, and tech billionaires, protesters applied pressure to Tesla dealerships and forced Musk out of Washington within just three months.
