We are a rebel alliance—a decentralized network pledged to anonymous collective action—a breakout from the prisons of our age. We strive to reinvent our lives and our world according to the principles of self-determination and mutual aid.

This Saturday, we're participating in events on two continents.

In a suburb of Paris, we will join speakers from seven countries in panel discussions at Les Peuples Veulent:

And at the same time, we're tabling at the Boston Anarchist Book Fair!

Three years ago, the #GiletsJaunes protests erupted into the spotlight—a populist movement that initially offered fertile ground for the far right, though anti-fascists ultimately won the day. The questions it raised remain relevant in the Biden era.

By creating a false dichotomy between environmentalism and the needs of the poor, President Macron gave nationalists a narrative with which to capitalize on economic desperation. The initial #GiletsJaunes movement showed how centrist administrations can benefit the far right.

When centrists use their authority to stabilize capitalism at the expense of the poor, nationalists can present themselves as rebels who are trying to protect “ordinary people” from the oppressive machinations of the government.

Fortunately, anarchists hurried to contest nationalist participation in the #giletsjaunes. Every struggle is, in part, a struggle to shape the popular imagination regarding what kind of change we need.
Congratulations to the farmers in India who have won their struggle against the far-right nationalist government, using direct action to force Prime Minister Modi to repeal all three of the farm laws. An inspiring victory.

In addition to hundreds of thousands of police officers, who kill a thousand people a year—in addition to the court system that incarcerates millions—it also takes murderous vigilantes, working with the cops and courts, to maintain this oppressive social order.

It always has.

Kyle Rittenhouse is the new face of the Republican Party—he represents the future they desire.

Meanwhile, the Democrats remain committed to defending the legitimacy of the court system that exonerated Rittenhouse. They're complicit.

No one is coming to save us. Get organized.
How Farmers Defeated the Government of India

https://cwc.im/Farmers2021

An anarchist from India explores how the victorious movement against the anti-farmer laws embodies anarchist principles, showing that horizontal, decentralized direct action can vanquish authoritarian regimes.
Over the past five years, anarchists and anti-fascists have made an admirable effort to slow the escalation of violence.

Unfortunately, the Rittenhouse verdict may exacerbate matters.

Today, we're announcing a Kickstarter campaign to get two of our classic books back into print—Days of War, Nights of Love and the Contradictionary.

https://cwc.im/DaysContraReprint

We're preparing special limited editions of the books for supporters. If we can raise enough money to do long-lasting print runs of each, we will be able to make them freely available in high-quality digital editions forever. But we need your help!

Please help us spread the word!
In the 1670s, Metacomet’s coalition mounted one of the most successful efforts to resist European colonialism and genocide in the Northeast. Read more about Metacomet’s War and why many view #Thanksgiving as a National Day of Mourning:

On November 27, 1884—Thanksgiving Day—anarchists in the United States marched with the black flag for the first time, according to the anarchist paper The Alarm, in a demonstration protesting poverty and explicitly calling for the forcible abolition of property and wage labor.

Today, this colonial holiday still reveals the tremendous gulf between the haves and the have-nots.
What’s the point of watching anything if nobody’s doing?
So-called #BlackFriday is part of the vicious cycle of labor exploitation and consumption. In fact, it is our own lives that are being consumed.

"The forests and polar ice caps are consumed alongside the hours of our lives—the aches in our bodies when we come home from work parallel the damage occurring on a global scale."

In place of abundance, the artificial scarcity of the marketplace—in place of the commons, the privatization of every aspect of the world around us, every facet of our lives. Robbed of our lives at work, we try to buy them back, and our exploiters profit on it.

Smash capitalism.
