2. Think about your problem (opportunity!) from the other person's point of view. Imagine someone you admire giving you advice on what to do. - It takes practice, but you will get a lot of different answers that can be very helpful.
3. Paint a picture of your dreams. Imagine how it sounds, feels, smells. We give meaning to everything through our 5 senses.
4. Find someone who does what you want and ask them for advice. It's called modeling. If what they do works for them, why doesn't it work for you?
5. Define what it means to you to be successful. – You may need to give a different, non-traditional, definition of success.
6. Think often about how you can start doing what you love. – Think about how you will think about it; change your habitual negative thought patterns.
7. Laugh. “Humor helps you change the habitual negative thought patterns you use when considering new possibilities.
8. Ask yourself what an 8 year old would do in this case. “It's amazing what kind of questions kids can ask, completely breaking all the patterns.
