ROM installation guide after 13/06/2024
⚠️ Warning:
Your warranty will be VOID after installing a custom ROM. I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, Thermonuclear War, or getting you fired because your alarm clock app didn't work.
Before flashing! YOU are the one who decided to make these changes.
If a completely original phone with a locked BL
If phone already flashed
Sorry for bad english, some items may be wrong or skipped

If a completely original phone with a locked BL
1. Download ROM, Custom Recovery and GAPPS(if ROM does not have built-in GAPPS also if you want GAPPS) on PC (if not installed, OrangeFox, TWRP, etc. are recommended)
2. Unlock Bootloader
(1. Enable OEM unlock in developer settings
2. Turn off the phone
3. Connect the cable from PC to phone
4. Press volume keys + - before blue screen
5. Long press volume key +
6. Press the volume key +
7. Reboot, complete the initial setup, and check for updates)
3. Flash recovery and reboot to recovery
(1. Reboot into download mode
2. Press the volume key +
3. Unzip recovery.img from zip (if it is zipped).
4. zip recovery to .tar
5. Open ODIN and put recovery.tar (or another name).
6. Download vbmeta.tar (yes, that's the link) and place in BL
7. Remove the auto reboot in ODIN
8. Flash recovery and vbmeta
9. Press volume key and power button before black screen
10. After the black screen appears release the volume key - and the power button and press the volume key + and the power button, release the power button after about 3-4 seconds, hold the volume key + until the recovery mode appears.(Ignore warnings))
4. Format data
5. Reboot into recovery mode via recovery mode
6. Copy ROM and GAPPS(GAPPS if you want) to the phone(or use sideload)
7. Flash the ROM and GAPPS(GAPPS if you want)
8. Enjoy
If phone already flashed
1. Download ROM, Custom Recovery and GAPPS(if ROM does not have built-in GAPPS also if you want GAPPS) on PC (if not installed, OrangeFox, TWRP, etc. are recommended)
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Format data

Android 16 will be released in the second quarter of 2025 as Google prepares for “more frequent SDK releases”
Developer preview of android 16 coming soon (it's not a beta, it's a very raw release that can only be put in manually. The beta is a couple months away). By the way, the codename of a16 is Baklava (baklava).
Android will be releasing SDK updates more frequently. They contain new features that developers can take advantage of. Previously, the SDK update came out with a new version of android, but now it will be in the second quarter of 2025 (major), and there will also be a minor one in the fourth quarter. New APIs for developers will also be released twice a year. And behavioral changes that could affect apps will remain just once a year, so that developers don't have to spend effort adapting apps twice.
It's unclear if the secondary SDK release in Q4 will have its own marketing name, such as 16.1, or if it will remain just another Android 16 update and won't get its own version number.
Quarterly updates without any new features for developers, but only with new features for users, will also be released: in Q1 and Q3 of 2025.
