$BTC & $GOLD Correlation
Case study 2019 & 2024
Based on observation in 2019, when GOLD starts to breakout from consolidation period during summer, BTC have a mid-cycle top.
When GOLD starts to top and dropped, thats where the risk asset like BTC starts to pick up the momentum and breakout for the 2021 Post-Halving Bull Run.
Current 2024 cycle, the market did the same thing when GOLD starts to breakout in March this year, thats exactly when BTC starts to go through slow summer exactly similar to 2019. The money flow from high risk assets to safe haven due to war risk or any issues that can affect their capital.

But I do believe the recovery wont be as long as 2019 because of few reasons:
1) That year was also when we had a recession heading into 2020 with COVID19, hence why it takes quite some time to recover after economy getting hit.
2) FED cut rates suddenly in 2019 after signalling they will not cut rate until next year.
3) It happens in pre-halving year and now we are in halving year, heading into post-halving 2025 returns (which usually are significant)
4) August and Sept usually a bad month for crypto, we can see sign of recovery in October after expected Fed Rate Cuts in Sept soon.

This is just my opinion and case study. I may be wrong but atleast we can prepare ourselves after doing our due diligence.
We still seeing momentum in GOLD hence why BTC still struggles to pump higher, not until the money starts flowing from safe haven assets back into high risk asset which from there we will have a big run.
Putting BTC aside, my take is we will have our Altcoin Season in 2025, so by then must prepare our capital and position well.
