This is what happened when accounts, normies, traders, institution are over-leveraging the market.
Market will always balance itself between supply and demand, thus if a sudden shift of leverage towards the upside or downside are heavy, a big liquidation will happen to wipe it all.

especially when Alts are not affected from this big drop, that truly meant people are buying Alts with big interest in the market.
