Pres-season Testing 2025 BEST SECTORS 📊

DAY 3:
Williams/ALB quickest in S1
Mercedes/RUS quickest in S2 and S3

DAY 2:
Williams/SAI quickest in S1 and S3
McLaren/NOR quickest in S2

On all 3 days, Ferrari was never the quickest in any sector (but performed well on all of them on Day 2).

I've analysed the top speed in ALL the THOUSANDS of laps done in testing...

Here are the results!💡
- Highest: 329 km/h by 🟠PIA (D3, DRS + Tow)
-Highest on average: 316km/h by 🔵ALB (D3, DRS)

Williams scored the highest top speed on average on EACH day: ALB D1, SAI D2, ALB D3. Higher engine mode, less drag, or both? 🤔

Top speeds were higher on the last day, and overall similar between day 1 and 2.

Haas’ focus on long runs is evident by their low top speeds in the first two days (DRS not used).

AUSTRALIAN GP - FP2 DATA 📊

1) SECTORS:
🔴 LEC was quick everywhere, already demolishing 🔵 VER's 2023 pole (0.293s quicker).
TSU, DOO, PIA got the fastest sectors, however!

2) TOP SPEEDS:
Minimal drag for 🟣Alpine (and 🔵RBR).
Mercedes and Williams ran draggy wings and didn't turn up the PU to compensate.

3) 🔴LEC vs 🟠PIA:
Were head-to-head until the last corner, where LEC gained 1 tenth through a 6km/h-higher minimum speed!

Everyone expects McL to be quick, but Ferrari should be a threat, too. 💡

We're in for a fascinating Australian GP!
